About LOOKS CORRUPT

Welcome graphic

This is the main update and distribution site for the LOOKS CORRUPT, a project file security program for personal & general business use.

Why is this program called LOOKS CORRUPT?

Well, once you privatize a file, be it an Excel file, Word Document, Zip file, WinRAR file, WinACE file, exe or any other file, it will just Look Corrupt to someone who does not have this program and the password for the file.

There are people who will use this because they are generally paranoid, and the obvious security is here for them. But basically, when you work in large environments with large fileservers, the Information Technology people who have access to all areas of the corporate computing systems are not able to view sensitive corporate documents without this program and the passwords for the files that you privatize. Simply put, it is an EYES ONLY assistance program for your work-in-progress and sensitive documents. I have always found the ROI documents need protecting the MOST.  Its great that a project increases efficiency, but when it involves reduction in employees or subcontracting services, if your ROI documents are not secure it demoralizes the staff.

I grant to anyone in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Mexico, the use of this program for personal non-commercial use. It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED that this program may NOT be used by any United States or foreign government offices, or municipalities.

Looks Corrupt uses High-Cypher enCryption. You will most certainly NOT want to lose your password <grin>.

However, NO security system is invulnerable to attack. For the
99.999% of the population, there is no way they can access your files without this program & the password(s).
